HiFi Cookies is a modern cookie company based in Nashville, TN and born out of a love of music, the folks we share it with, and of course, sugar! Our mission is to make fun, delicious, and creative cookies. Our inspiration comes from our favorite childhood classics like Fruity Pebbles, Cosmic Brownies, and of course, Chocolate Chip Cookies. Just like the hook to a great song, our cookies stick with you long after they’re gone!”
New York native, Sean Newsome, had been working in the restaurant industry since college and inherited a love for baking from his mother and grandmother. He has been experimenting with his own recipes since he was just a young boy, and learned to remix his favorite classics from his mother who became famous in Brooklyn for her Almond Cakes. Meanwhile, Cincinnati’s Kristin Kennedy was living in New York pursuing her cosmetology career. She and Sean met in 2012 and their connection was too sweet to resist!
In 2014, the couple visited Nashville and fell in love with the city and it’s people. Shortly after, they made the move to Music City and began to dream of combining their passions into one common goal. Sean and Kennedy share a love for all kinds of sweets, but when it comes to their collective favorite… cookies take the cake! HiFi Cookies launched on Sean’s birthday, January 18th of 2016.
