Hey! I’m Marissa Allen. Most days, you can find me in the kitchen, elbow deep in flour, chocolate, and BUTTER. I am the baker and boss with big ideas for The Cookie Society. I’m mostly known for my big, chewy cookies, crazy kids, and somewhat famous husband (he played football in the NFL for 7 years).It was right after my second child was born that my husband staged an intervention in regard to my butter purchases. I was making 4 or 5 dozen cookies a week and giving them to our mail man, swim instructor, and friends. His offhanded comment about selling cookies sparked a sweet business idea. When I’m not in the kitchen, you are most likely to find me playing with my babies, at a football game, or doing laundry.
