African American, Biracial, Hispanic and Multicultural dolls

Initially, when I released my children's books at Walmart, they kept suggesting that I should create dolls. Of course, I never saw that as a part of my life’s plan, so I didn't consider the offer. It wasn’t until I viewed the updated doll study, that my mind was completely changed. During the study, one of the African American girl participants was asked why the white doll was prettier. As she touched her hand, she said, “I didn’t think the brown doll’s skin was pretty because it is nasty just like mine”.
